**About the role**
We're on the lookout for a Head Detailer to lead, manage and coordinate our Frames & Truss Detailing group for Christchurch Manufacturing.
As the Head Detailer, you will utilise your leadership experience to train and develop detailers and provide technical guidance to your team.

Our detailers work closely with Account Managers, Support Staff, Branch Network and External Customers on Residential and Commercial construction projects for our valued customers.
You will be responsible for monitoring team performance ensuring efficiency, accuracy and quality of drawings of wall frames and roof trusses for production while coordinating delivery schedules and identifying areas for improvement to lift efficiency and quality.

**Skills & Experience**
- Highly skilled detailer with a minimum 5 years Senior Detailing experience
- Prior leadership and team development experience
- Proficient in MiTek 20/20 or Sapphire
- Sound communication and negotiation skills as you will be dealing with a number of internal stakeholders and Customers
- A strong understanding of residential & commercial construction techniques
- Solid understanding of residential construction, timber grades and basic timber engineering
