**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

Our newly formed Property & Facilities Support Services team is looking for an experienced and super-motivated person to support the BIM Manager in the new BIM unit. This role will manage the digital process from initiation, to design (BIM, Digital Survey) through to operations and digital data management. Key deliverables will comply with the site standards for integration and management of assets for the Facilities Management BIM model, and Asset Management System.

The role will be required to provide input on scoping, documenting, tendering, contracting, administration and project management of capital projects, as related to building information / digital documentation, for works managed by the Property & Facilities team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Perform quality control towards BIM models
- Update 3D BIM models and 2D CAD drawings
- Site visits and inspections
- Provide BIM support to project Engineering and Construction teams
- Perform laser (LIDAR) scanning of existing spaces where required
- Incorporate field data into BIM model

The Property & Facilities Unit sits within the Finance, Facilities & Business Services (FFABS) Directorate, led by the Chief Financial Officer. The Property & Facilities team provides the overall asset and facilities management of buildings, plant & equipment, and clinical equipment, either owned or leased by Te Whatu Ora. The unit includes the following key areas; Support Services, Capital Projects, Technical Services, Clinical Engineering and Business Improvement and Capability Development.

**Moū - About you**

Skills and experience we are looking for:

- Revit experience with a minimum of 3 years - experience
- Knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360 Design and AutoCAD
- Passion for understanding how construction works for all disciplines
- Strong communication and management skills
- A relevant Diploma or experience in the field.
- Someone well-suited to the role will place a high value on the following:

- Experience in the Health sector desirable
- Record of working successfully in a collective and collaborative leadership environment with an ability to constructively challenge thinking and represent and articulate ideas
- Experience and skill in building and managing effective relationships and networks, with a particular talent for collaboration and building trusting and respectful strategic partnerships
- Strong emotional intelligence that supports the ability to both empower and influence individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Ability to effectively and credibly communicate with various audiences demonstrating an adaptive style that creates confidence and trust
