Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the RoleWe have a rare opportunity for an ambitious Lead IM Advisor to work with the us on a 6-month fixed term basis.This role will involve working alongside our Lead Information Systems Advisor to plan and implement continuous improvement activities across the team, and champion information management improvements across our 2 customer Agencies.

Ō pūmanawa | About YouWe are seeking a well-rounded candidate with real world experience developing and implementing key records and Information Management frameworks. You will also bring:

  • Experience as a Records or Information Management specialist in a public sector organisation who can motivate and lead others through positive relationships
  • A good understanding of Government information strategies and initiatives, the Public Records Act and other legislation relating to records and information management. Must have experience in Disposal and Archiving.
  • An awareness of emerging trends in information management, and be willing to share your knowledge
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • The ability to influence and work with a range of stakeholders
