SteelPoint Hotel Limited is currently looking for a Hotel Manager, who has great passion for the hospitality industry and offers authentic customer experience tailored to the need of each guest. The job involves working in morning shift, day shift and weekend, taking your own initiative and act as an ambassador to promote our motel brand in Auckland. The location of employment is in Newmarket, City and any other places as required by the Employer.

**The role is a member of the senior leadership team, with the key tasks listed below**:

- In conjunction with company’s Finance Service Provider, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring data integrity, provide transactional accounting.
- Support, management reporting and general support to staff and management. To ensure data (financial and non-financial) is of the highest possible accuracy and quality.
- Administer payroll for all staff.
- Administration of the Employees, including, but not limited to Receptionist, supervisor and Cleaners
- Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers such as IT, repair and ordering.
- Ordering hotel supplies such as daily supplies, tools and office supplies.
- To be a relationship ad liaison point with external suppliers including travel agencies, corporate companies and organizations.
- Maintain Health and Safety requirements in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, supporting materials and invoices.
- Conducting building and room inspections.
- Work closely with the maintenance providers and maintain the hotel in a good condition
- Generate monthly report and follow up unpaid invoices. Provide financial information to the employer for the financial management reports.
- Confident and well-spoken with company and group bookings.
- To be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and provides critical functions and services that support Employer to operate successfully in the hospitality industry.
- To lead a team of staff whose role is to deliver the team purpose.
- To deliver consistent HR processes for all support staff.

**To be successful in this role you are required to have**:

- At least two years (3 years)relevant work experience in a hospitality business.
- At least one year manager experience
- One year experience on building management
- Excellent sale skills to be able to promote booking sales and revenues
- Good working knowledge on internet and data networking are required.
- Relevant hospitality or business or IT qualification desirable.
- Able to work on morning shift,day shift, weekends and public holidays.
- Flexible with hours and starting times.
- Excellent organizational leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service all the time.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have no police or drug issues.
