The Role:
This casual contract position requires flexibility for weekends and sleepovers. As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with complex disabilities, helping them master daily tasks, personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
About You
To deliver excellent care, we seek a Support Worker who can keep pace with highly active individuals who enjoy daily walks, swimming, and maintaining an energetic lifestyle. Your exceptional time management and problem-solving skills will be invaluable as you navigate various situations. Experience working with challenging behaviours, particularly autism and intellectual disabilities, is desirable.
We require candidates to possess a valid FULL New Zealand driver's licence, the legal right to work in New Zealand, and undergo criminal and Oranga Tamariki checks. A first-aid certificate is also mandatory.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with complex disabilities in daily tasks and personal care.
- Help individuals master essential life skills, such as meal preparation and household management.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team to ensure high-quality care and support.
