**Role Summary**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Deputy Director of Facilities.

The role involves leading the facilities management, project development, and safety teams to ensure optimal and sustainable design for world-class scientific research.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of facilities management, project development, and occupational safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of specialists in facilities management, project development, and occupational safety.
  • Establish contracts in support of facilities management and maintenance of various infrastructure.
  • Implement and review maintenance engineering initiatives to achieve higher reliability, maintainability, and serviceability.
  • Partner with end-users to develop design brief, technical specifications, and project budget for procurement of consultancy services and construction contracts.
  • Develop and implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management system, risk management plans, emergency response plans, and WSH/safety training programmes.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least 15 years of relevant working experience in managing building infrastructure and project development in research and/or industrial facility.
  • Experience in working in and/or managing cleanrooms is an advantage.
  • Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields.
  • Rustic project management and leadership in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and strategic thinking skills to engage various stakeholders with clarity and impact.
