Job Summary
  We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. As a specialist in haematology, you will develop and implement nursing care plans that cater to the needs of patients with malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders.

About the Role
  This is an ideal opportunity for nurses who possess a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and have excellent assessment skills. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients from throughout the South Island. Previous experience in haematology is desirable but not essential, as we offer orientation to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients with haematological disorders.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) from the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
