About the Role: As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and ultrasound technologies. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of radiology services in the region.

Salary: This role falls within the ASMS Collective Agreement and offers a competitive salary range between $185,380 and $267,980 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and ultrasound technologies
  • Interpreting imaging results and providing recommendations for further testing or treatment
  • Collaborating with medical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A FRANZCR qualification (or equivalent) and registration with the Medical Council of NZ
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and ultrasound technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
