This Is An IT Support Group seeks a skilled Consultant Radiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services and contributing to the development of our radiology department.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Radiologist with a general scope of skills, including MRI and CT guided procedures. Ultrasound experience is advantageous but not necessary. As a flexible department, we are willing to make the most of your skills and support your special interest.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to quality and patient care. You will participate in an out-of-hours on-call roster shared equally amongst your Radiologist colleagues.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be FRANZCR qualified (or equivalent) and hold, or be eligible for, vocational registration with Medical Council of NZ. If you are an international candidate, you can be considered under the condition you are eligible for vocational registration with the MCNZ.

You will also need competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth. Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings, is also desirable.

Salary and Benefits

This role belongs to the ASMS Collective Agreement and falls between the Step 1 ($185,380) and Step 15 ($267,980 per annum pro rata). In addition to a competitive pay rate, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
