About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Radiologist to join our team at Southland Hospital in Invercargill. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical imaging studies, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret medical imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI images.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and radiographers, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- FRANZCR qualification or equivalent.
- Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
- Experience working in a similar role in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
