About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team at Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Rotorua.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to infants, children, and adolescents, as well as their families. You will work closely with other clinicians, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders to deliver holistic care and support.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled team. You will also be able to connect and build trusting relationships with a wide range of people from the community, including those from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for infants, children, and adolescents, as well as their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
