Mental Health Clinician Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) Health New Zealand Lakes (Rotorua) Monday to Friday, 0800-1630, or pro-rata for part time. About the RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic and motivated mental health professionals such as Psychologists, Registered Nurses, and Social Workers to join our multi-disciplinary team at Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Rotorua. Rotorua has a growing multi-cultural community and is becoming the lifestyle destination of choice for professional couples, families, and individuals that have a passion for life and the outdoors.
About you- It is essential that the successful candidate has strong mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention skills. The successful candidate should also be able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team. An ability to connect and build a trusting relationship with a wide range of people from the community is essential, whether it be on site, at schools, homes, or other settings.
- Applicants must have registration, or be eligible for registration, with a NZ professional body, hold a current full clean NZ drivers licence, and meet requirements for the children's worker safety checks.

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
iCAMHS provides multi-disciplinary mental health services to those in our community who are experiencing the highest needs. iCAMHS Rotorua is based in Te Aka Mauri, the Children's Health Hub, housed in the Rotorua Public Library. The Taupō iCAMHS team is based on the Taupō Hospital site.
