About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Marketing Professional to join our Consumer Division at Dicker Data NZ. As a Retail Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving demand for products, and managing marketing opportunities to achieve sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies for existing customers and recruit new partners
  • Drive demand for products through face-to-face customer engagements, customer events, conferences, training, and marketing activities
  • Manage marketing opportunities end-to-end to drive sell-through and minimize excess or obsolete stock
  • Communicate promotions, new product information, and merchandising directives to customers and internal teams
  • Attend weekly Sales meetings and ad-hoc joint visits with Vendor representatives
  • Perform regular store visits within sales territory to ensure adherence to a defined call plan and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful business development experience in the Consumer Electronics industry
  • Well-organized with high level of business acumen and attention to detail
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret and draw conclusions from information
  • Ability to provide high level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
