Job Title: Traffic Controller

We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Traffic Controller to contribute to public safety and efficient traffic flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic at designated locations to ensure a smooth and safe flow.
  • Operate traffic control devices such as stop signs, traffic cones, and signaling devices effectively.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities or traffic issues to supervisors or appropriate authorities.
  • Communicate traffic directives clearly and courteously to motorists and pedestrians.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or congestion.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination in managing traffic flow.
Qualifications:
  • Certification in traffic control Class 1 Full licence or restricted licence.
  • Previous experience in a traffic control or related role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
