Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oral Health Therapist to join our team in Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with experienced dentists and hygienists to provide comprehensive care to patients. This part-time role offers the ideal opportunity for a driven individual looking to expand their potential and take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering hygiene treatment to a diverse range of clients to a high standard.
- OHI and review appointments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with Senior Clinicians and another hygienist to deliver comprehensive clinical treatment.
- Developing and implementing an active Risk Management programme for caries and tooth wear management.
- Preparing for clinical appointments before patient arrival.
- Maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients to receive care.
- Coordinating ongoing appointments for all patients.
- Working closely with other team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Accurately recording patient notes and medical history.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a warm and effective communicator, with a professional demeanor, and possess strong interpersonal skills. An outstanding clinician with attention to detail is essential. Experience in caries risk management programmes is an advantage. Knowledgeable and able to discuss restorative procedures, with awareness of digital technology, is also required.
