We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team on the East Waikato Network Outcomes Contract, covering the Hauraki Plains - Coromandel Peninsula.
Based from our branch in Morrinsville, you will be involved in general maintenance, repair works, annual programmed works, pre-seal repairs and additional works projects on the roading network.
About This RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with us as a Labourer. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and repairing roads and highways
- Assisting with equipment operation and maintenance
- Participating in safety inspections and quality control
- Collaborating with the crew to achieve project goals
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 & 2 Driver's license
- WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsement (a bonus)
- Previous experience in road maintenance (desired)
- Availability to work on an on-call roster
- Ability to reach job sites within 30 minutes for call-outs
- Experience with incident response (an asset)
- Familiarity with RAMM (beneficial)
- Reliability, honesty, and strong teamwork skills
