Medical Devices Territory Manager

Working in the Medical Devices Industry, you will be exposed to a broad range of products that have life changing effects on a patient's quality of life.
This role plays a crucial part in the growth and success of Dexcom's Tandem Insulin Pump and CGM portfolio. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will achieve national business performance targets. You will make a significant impact in the diabetes healthcare sector by promoting innovative products and providing exceptional support to healthcare professionals and consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Dexcom's Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and Tandem Insulin Pump products to stakeholders in both public and private sectors.
- Engage directly with consumers and healthcare professionals to ensure sales growth, excellence of service, and support.
- Provide technical expertise and support to both healthcare professionals and consumers.
- Offer education and training at target centers, including endocrinologists, diabetes nurse specialists, diabetes educators, and dieticians.
- Influence healthcare professionals to prescribe Dexcom and Tandem products.
- Train healthcare professionals on the use of Dexcom and Tandem products.
- Represent Dexcom and Tandem at trade shows, exhibits, and community events.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate territory sales growth.
- Implement strategies and monitor progress towards sales goals using analytical tools.
- Manage territory travel and business-related expenditure effectively.
Requirements:
- Sales experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build strong business relationships.
- Proven track record of success in medical sales.
- Knowledgeable about sales processes and can provide innovative ideas for business growth.
- Effective communication skills and ability to engage with various individuals.
- Business acumen allows management of key accounts effectively.
- Training and educating others proficiently.
- Background in diabetes medical sales and strong IT skills.
- Experience working in a competitive sales field.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Organized, time-efficient, and customer-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
- Analytical, data-driven, and demonstrate good judgment.
- Self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, and passionate about achieving outcomes.
- Experience executing business plans and managing key accounts.
