This role will be responsible for managing the initial stage of a large software replacement project, including implementation planning, stakeholder management, and change management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting detailed business cases and using tools such as ADO, FMIS, Microsoft Project online, and Microsoft Teams.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative team and contribute to the delivery of a high-profile project.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the business case for a large transformational project
  • Leading and motivating a team of professionals to achieve project goals
  • Managing project budgets, risks, and issues
  • Representing the project at governance and steering committee activities
  • Providing timely and accurate project reports to stakeholders

What You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven project management experience in large and complex organisations
  • Experience leading project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget, particularly in an Agile context
  • Collaborative experience working with Service Team Managers to drive business and digital change
  • Experience leading suppliers to deliver effective, efficient, and high-quality solutions
