Job Description:

This role plays a vital part in enhancing workflow management and improving overall court performance within the South Auckland Judicial Region. As District Court Scheduler, you will coordinate court hearings across various courts within the region, collaborating closely with Regional Scheduling Advisors to uphold court schedules and guarantee seamless daily functions.

  • Ensuring a consistent approach to scheduling cases;
  • Supporting national focus areas by prioritizing and scheduling cases/hearings across a JSA;
  • Maintaining knowledge of facilities and scheduling issues for each court;
  • Working collaboratively with judicial officers, registry staff, and stakeholders across multiple courts;

To be successful, you will need: strong attention to detail, ability to establish strong rapport with staff from several sites, confidently manage relationships across varying levels of responsibility, think laterally to maximise available resources, provide reporting and insights to support continuous improvement, comfortable working with spreadsheets, experience with court processes.
