Job Overview

This role involves operating a large truck in our underground mine, transporting material from one location to another. You will work as a member of a larger team, communicating with a wide variety of people and maintaining housekeeping of vehicles and loading areas.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting pre-start and shut down checks on all equipment
  • Loading and transporting material
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Communicating effectively with management and colleagues
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and experience driving manual vehicles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • An interest in heavy machinery and safety procedures
  • A commitment to maintaining an excellent safety record
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
