Job Description

We design, implement, and continuously improve evidence-based learning products, pathways, and guidelines that build a culturally capable workforce and support the growth and development of kaimahi Māori. This role will drive high performance while ensuring learning solutions align with council's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design curate and implement learning pathways that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and build a culturally confident workforce.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Māori capability initiatives embedding te reo tikanga and mātauranga Māori across the organisation.
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure learning solutions are human-centred effective and accessible.
  • Leverage insights and data to inform learning strategies and continuously improve delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor providing expert guidance on best practice learning approaches and workforce capability development.

You are a highly skilled learning and development professional with a deep understanding of te ao Māori te reo and tikanga. With experience in designing and delivering capability-building initiatives you are passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that foster cultural confidence and career growth.
