About the Position
This is an exceptional opportunity to join CB Civil as a Project Engineer, playing a pivotal role in delivering large-scale projects. You will be responsible for driving project success, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to our culture of excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop construction plans and oversee project execution.
- Conduct site investigations, analyse data, and coordinate technical reviews and inspections.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Manage scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and QHSE planning and compliance.
- Monitor progress, report on project status, and manage budgets and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure effective cost control, stakeholder management, and contribute to company culture.
- Mentor team members and promote team success.
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years' of NZ, UK or Australian experience in a Project Engineer role.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Project or similar software.
- Proven track record in managing complex civil projects.
- Strong skills in site layout, utility design, grading, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent commercial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
- Expertise in project delivery, including surveying and permits.
- Able to read drawings, plans, and Inspection Test Plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to use benchmarks for permanent works.
