About The Role

We're seeking a full-time Senior Data Infrastructure Specialist to join our professional services team, where you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and deploying code and infrastructure on cloud platforms—especially in the context of data platforms or AI workloads. As a Data Architect at HSO/Aware, you'll provide technical leadership, support sales in unlocking the next steps of the customer journey, and define best practices to upskill our team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy code and infrastructure on cloud platforms
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Support sales in unlocking the next steps of the customer journey

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Recent experience as a consultant in a service delivery organisation using the Microsoft Azure stack
  • Demonstrated expertise in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Azure Purview, Azure Synapse Analytics, CI/CD Pipelines, and Azure DevOps
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Current Microsoft Solution Architect Expert certification or similar qualifications in Data and AI on Azure or Databricks platforms
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and their application to modern data solutions
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs, then design, scope, quote, model, and deliver production-ready solutions
  • The ability to think beyond the immediate solution, considering integration with other technologies
