As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing stock levels, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficient functionality.
  • Manage stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and ensure timely restocking.
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for customers.
  • Supervise, motivate, and guide store staff.
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently.
  • Train and support new team members to understand store policies and procedures.
  • Verify customer age identification and refuse service where necessary.
  • Address and report any incidents or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma or Higher in Business/Management/Operations or a similar discipline is required.
  • A Bachelor's qualification in any discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 1 year Retail experience in New Zealand is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of inventory and cash handling.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
