Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at our luxury lodge in Franz Josef, New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the lodge.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Identify and address any defects or sub-standard presentations.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members.
  • Manage performance-based concerns in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Assist with other duties as reasonably requested.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Time management and social management skills.
  • A current NZ driver's license would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or a relevant qualification at level 4 or above of the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF).
