Job Description:
As a Senior Instrumentation Technician, you will form an integral part of our maintenance team at the Upper Hutt manufacturing site. Your primary responsibility will be to support the site by maintaining and troubleshooting equipment within the plant, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

About the Job:
This is a full-time position offering excellent remuneration and benefits. You will work collaboratively with other functions to support site priorities and participate in a call-out roster to provide 24-hour support to the facility. Shift work may be required to minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including instrument electrical changes and calibrations. Troubleshoot and resolve non-routine problems to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Provide input and assistance with capital projects, continuous improvements, and supporting other departments. Ensure quality, corporate, and legislative compliance requirements are met. Organize daily tasks and routine maintenance according to prescribed schedules.

Requirements:
Prior experience in instrumentation and calibration is essential. A recognized engineering qualification or trade certificate in a relevant discipline is also required. Knowledge of PLCs and proficiency in data analysis are highly desirable. Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail are necessary for accurate record keeping and documentation.
