Job Description

This full-time, permanent position is based at Regional House or our Kairanga Depot. You will be responsible for leading a team of experienced project engineers and project managers who are passionate about effective management of programmed works.

You will have technical oversight of all aspects of the delivery of a capital work programme for river management and flood protection activity and other specific projects as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading and mentoring the team
  2. Working alongside other Team Leaders and the Freshwater and Projects Manager
  3. Technical oversight of all aspects of project delivery
  4. Managing budgets, procurement and reporting for projects
  5. Coordinating internal and external input to projects
About You

You will be a people-focused person with excellent relationship management skills. A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering at a minimum level of NZCE or equivalent is a must for this role.

A full driver's licence is also required as you will regularly visit project sites to review progress and facilitate effective project delivery.
