As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a critical role in our mission to be the leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry.

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implement interventions for patients in a correctional mental health/healthcare setting. The incumbent will supervise patients and provide formal education in routine activities of daily living (hygiene, eating, recreation, etc.). Additionally, the individual will provide care and activities programming as well as social rehabilitation and leisure activities.

RequirementsA Bachelor's Degree in Social Work/Sciences, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field is required. A Level 1 Psychiatric Technician Certification from the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians is preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior training providing activities programming for patients who have a serious mental illness and competencies with Excel to create, maintain, and update scheduling databases.
