As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in our Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and support to our nursing staff. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to identify and address areas for improvement, develop and implement best practices, and drive quality initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.

You will have a deep understanding of the complexities of critical care and be able to apply your expertise to deliver high-quality care for patients with complex needs. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong educational background in Intensive Care Nursing, including a Graduate Certificate or higher relevant to the field. You will also need to have current experience working in a New Zealand Intensive Care environment and be willing to engage in ongoing Postgraduate education.
