Position Overview
The Quality Control Microbiology role involves assisting in the microbiological aspects of cGMP compliance and testing at the Fujifilm Biotechnologies Diosynth Texas Quality Control Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting environmental monitoring samples, managing laboratory inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collecting environmental monitoring samples (Total Air, Viable Air, and Viable Surface) in a cleanroom/controlled environment.
  • Managing utility monitoring samples (RODI/WFI) routinely and for system qualification.
  • Sampling compressed gas/process gas systems.
  • Autoclaving materials and components for use in the QC laboratory.
  • Routine QC laboratory cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements:
  • An Associate's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to analyze raw data and assess assay/system suitability criteria.
  • Strong problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills and good attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills and demonstrated written/oral communication skills.
