The school has a strong emphasis on its vision (Growing Your Glow – Te Whakatipu i to Uira) and values (kindness, respect, honesty), which are essential for building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated learning leader to join our team. As a Certificated teacher with expertise in English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, and The arts, you will be responsible for delivering a rich and broad curriculum to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive curriculum
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with literacy and mathematics knowledge and effective classroom practice
Requirements:
- A Certificated teaching qualification
- Expertise in subject areas mentioned above
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge and understanding of a rural school setting is advantageous
What We Offer:
- A competitive estimated salary of $NZD 60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience
