Business Development Specialist

The Role
We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Hamilton branch as a Senior Recruitment Consultant focused on permanent placements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and sourcing top talent to meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the permanent placement desk.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to match client requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and candidates.
Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment within NZ, preferably in a senior consultant capacity.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
- High level of motivation and a hunger for success.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
