We're seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team and contribute to our success. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing our fortnightly salaried and weekly waged payroll, providing expert advice to our employees and leaders, and supporting our Payroll Manager with various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process of a fortnightly salaried and weekly waged payroll for 2000+ employees.
- Provide expert payroll advice to people leaders and employees.
- Support the Payroll Manager with various projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience managing both salaried and waged payrolls of 500+ employees.
- Up-to-date knowledge of New Zealand's Holidays Act 2003 and all relevant legislation and best practices.
- A continuous improvement mindset to drive innovation and efficiency in our payroll processes.
- A customer-centric approach to deliver excellent service to our employees and stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP HCM or DataPay is an advantage but not essential.
