The responsibilities will include:

  1. Full lifecycle payroll responsibilities including BAU, all end of year tasks and audit requirements. Using CloudPay
  2. Answering any employee queries on tax, payroll, leave and superannuation
  3. Business partnering with the HR team and Finance Business Partners for payroll review, approval and other queries
  4. Ensure that the HRIS (Workday) and other HR information systems are accurate and kept up to date with relevant payroll related actions (leave, pay changes, employee details etc)
  5. Responsible for producing high quality accurate data and reports on core HR processes (for example absence levels, pay information, headcount, turnover and monthly vacancy reports).
  6. Manage any payroll related audits, reviews and/ or any special payroll related projects
  7. Manage any historic pay investigations and related projects
  8. Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all payroll locations
  9. Manage any Holiday Pay Act changes in line with legislation.
  10. Deliver HR metrics such that they complement the business plan

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?

  1. Experience using Workday and/ or CloudPay is required although full system training will be provided.
  2. Familiarity with payroll processes in A/NZ.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced MS Excel skills, including advanced formulas and macros is ideal.
  4. Impeccable attention to detail and conscientious work ethic.
  5. Exceptional organizational abilities, detail-oriented mindset, and adeptness at working within tight deadlines.
  6. Understanding of the significance of global payroll within an organization, leveraging expertise to uphold international excellence.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a supportive and friendly team environment, contributing to collective efforts aimed at maintaining effective, up-to-date, and compliant processes.
  8. Prior experience ensuring international compliance in payroll processes, aiming to uphold world-class standards in service delivery.
