Job Description

The Territorial Media Officer/Digital Communications Adviser plays a vital role in enhancing our public profile and mitigating risk through effective media and crisis management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an annual media plan to promote our achievements and values.
  • Manage media engagement, respond to inquiries and provide best practice advice.
  • Prepare and distribute media releases and statements.
  • Maintain media coverage reports on key events.
  • Support crisis communication planning and execution.
  • Report on key news events and write articles for our territorial magazine and digital channels.
  • Create and manage digital content for our online platforms.
  • Provide media management advice and guide internal teams on engaging with the media.
