As a Social Resilience Specialist, you will develop and maintain New Zealand's national emergency management planning framework and partner with social sectors to build resilience in support of communities.

The role involves developing guidance, frameworks, and doctrine, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to achieve common goals. You will work closely with the Planning and Sector Partnerships Unit to deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.

This position requires a strong background in social services and/or emergency management, with experience in supporting and enabling others to achieve a common purpose. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically and work in complex circumstances.
