We are seeking a skilled Senior Advisor, Social to join our team in Wellington. As a key member of the Planning and Sector Partnerships Unit, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining New Zealand's national emergency management planning framework and partnering with social and infrastructure sectors to build resilience across the 4 Rs of risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery in support of communities.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Develop and maintain New Zealand's national emergency management planning framework

- Partner with social and infrastructure sectors to build resilience across the 4 Rs of risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery

- Respond to emergency activations in the event of a national emergency response

**Requirements**

- Resilience, agility, and drive

- Collaborative mindset and excellent relationship management skills

- Strong communication and influencing skills

- Proven experience developing and delivering guidance, frameworks, and doctrine

- Demonstrated experience in the social services and/or emergency management sectors

- Ability to think strategically with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities

- Utilises initiative and delivers outputs within a high-trust environment
