About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles on multiple platforms. You'll be responsible for experimenting with new and existing research techniques, working closely with art and design to create and iterate on engine and game features, contributing deep expertise, and guiding junior programmers. If you have a strong analytical mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities
- Experiment with new and existing research techniques while ensuring strong architectural and algorithmic decisions are made.
- Collaborate with art and design to create and iterate on engine and game features.
- Contribute deep expertise and actionable knowledge in collaboration with other researchers, programmers, artists, and designers.
- Guide and mentor junior programmers.
Requirements
A strong background in C++ programming, experience using Unreal Engine 5, and well-versed research methods are essential. Additionally, we're looking for individuals who can articulate the strengths and weaknesses of existing algorithms, preferably with an interest in machine learning. Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial.
