Based in Christchurch, this key role is responsible for managing and overseeing stock control levels and product distribution across the business' locations: Christchurch, Nelson, and Timaru.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage stock levels to a satisfactory level in accordance with management.
  • Ensure efficient stock scheduling is maintained to achieve targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost control.
  • Ensure pricing is kept up to date.
  • Maintain timely inwards/outwards distribution of stock to customers.

About You

We are looking for an organized Storeperson to join our team. Ideally you will have prior warehousing experience and be able to hit the ground running.

You will have:

  • A logical and systematic approach to work.
  • The ability to solve problems, make quick decisions, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or warehouse environment.
  • The ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
  • Physically capable and comfortable being on your feet all day.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A team player, driven, and self-motivated.
  • B ase-Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, alongside the ability to provide timely and accurate information.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement of processes and systems.
  • Experience in customer service and order processing.
  • Experience championing and leading H&S standards in the workplace.
  • A current Forklift license is preferred.
