In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of the Maori Design Kaupapa Programme, which aims to shape the urban design and influence outcomes across Tamaki Makaurau.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Maori Design Kaupapa Programme, ensuring the integration of Maori design principles into key strategies and plans.
  • Work collaboratively with Mana Whenua and other stakeholders to ensure Maori values are embedded into key strategies, policies, and urban design projects across Tamaki Makaurau.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Mana Whenua, Mataawaka, elected members, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to regional and national strategies, influencing projects at site, precinct, centre, and regional scales.
