**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Urban Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for urban design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead specialist design advice on urban and public realm matters.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert urban design advice to shape the city's future;
  • Contribute to the formulation of urban design-related strategies, policies, and guidelines;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve organisational goals;
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Council staff, community groups, and industry partners;

**Requirements**

  • Post-graduate qualification in urban design;
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field;
  • Eligibility for membership with a relevant professional organisation;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in urban design, residential design & development, masterplans, and understanding of best practice urban design;
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications, Sketch-Up, CAD platforms, hand drawing, and Microsoft Office;
