Job Title: Part-time Team Leader - Social Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our team as a part-time Team Leader. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience working with survivors of sexual violence. They will also have leadership experience, preferably within the NGO sector, and be able to support the management team to achieve operational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of social workers to deliver high-quality support services
- Developing and implementing trauma-informed practice within the organization
- Supporting the management team to achieve operational objectives
- Contributing to the development and implementation of cultural competency within the organization
Requirements:
- A social work qualification and registration with the SWRB NZ
- Leadership experience, preferably within the NGO sector
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience working with survivors of sexual violence
- Cultural competency and the ability to implement the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into work practices
