Job Description:

This part-time role as a Team Leader will play a critical part in supporting our team of social workers. The position will include a small caseload and also involve supporting the manager with operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide high-quality support services
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of trauma-informed practice within the organization
  • Supporting the management team to achieve operational objectives

Requirements:

  • A social work qualification and registration with the SWRB NZ
  • Leadership experience, preferably within the NGO sector
  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience working with survivors of sexual violence
  • Cultural competency and the ability to implement the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into work practices
