Our Mission
Arcs Manawatu is committed to delivering quality services to survivors of sexual violence and their whanau, while creating a supportive team environment for our staff. We believe in the importance of cultural competency and implementing the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into our work practices.
Role Overview
This role requires a senior social worker to lead our team in delivering quality services, including a small caseload and supporting the manager with operational tasks. You will need to have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience working with survivors of sexual violence.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading our team of social workers in delivering quality services;
- Managing a small caseload;
- Supporting the manager with operational tasks.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Leadership experience, preferably within the NGO sector;
- A social work qualification and registration with the SWRB NZ;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
