Role Overview

This role requires a senior social worker to lead our team in delivering quality services, including a small caseload and supporting the manager with operational tasks. You will need to have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience working with survivors of sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading our team of social workers in delivering quality services;
  • Managing a small caseload;
  • Supporting the manager with operational tasks.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership experience, preferably within the NGO sector;
  • A social work qualification and registration with the SWRB NZ;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
