About The Job

We are looking for a seasoned Corporate Accounting Lead to oversee the daily activities of our Corporate Accounting team. This role will involve managing the general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes, as well as reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Corporate Accounting team, providing guidance and direction on accounting issues and complex transactions
  • Oversee the general ledger and month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Actuarial, Investments, and Tax, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing a team of accounting professionals
