We are seeking an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join our Disability Policy team at the Ministry of Social Development. The successful candidate will have a track record in delivering excellent policy advice and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across our organisation and externally.

About Our Team

The Disability Policy team provides strategic policy advice to enable disabled people to live good lives. We are responsible for a broad range of policy issues impacting disabled people and their whānau, and provide advice to both the Minister for Disability Issues and the Minister for Social Development and Employment.

We are part of the International, Disability, and Generational Group within MSD's Policy Branch, which takes a unique population-based lens to social development, employment and disability policy. Our team is leading work on the Carers' Strategy and Mahi Aroha – the Carers' Action Plan; employment for disabled people; and system-focussed advice on a wide range of supports that MSD provides to improve the lives of disabled people and their whānau.
