We are seeking reliable and flexible examination assistants to support our exams at West Craven High School. As an examination assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of exams and maintaining the integrity of the examination process.

The main duties of an examination assistant include conducting exams in accordance with JCQ instructions and awarding body requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a confident presence when interacting with students in exam rooms.

You will work closely with the Exams Officer to ensure all procedures are followed and will be required to attend training sessions to equip you for this role.

Job Details:

  • Location: West Craven High School
  • Hours of work: As and when required plus half-day training
  • Rate of pay: £12 per hour

About the Role: We require flexible and reliable individuals who can commit to supporting our exams throughout the year. Ideally, we need staff available for all exam windows.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct exams in accordance with JCQ instructions and awarding body requirements
  • Maintain a calm and reassuring presence in exam rooms
  • Ensure all procedures are followed during exams
