Job Description
This role belongs to the APEX/DHBs Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($74,842 p.a) and Step 7 ($107,644 p.a pro rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale. The salary range reflects the competitive nature of the role, offering a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour week. The successful candidate will also receive continuous support for career development, subsidised gym membership and discounted health insurance, access to staff fitness facilities and banking offers, and access to a range of retail discounts and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across a diverse range of disciplines
- Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Operate state-of-the-art equipment, including DR, CR, PACS, general x-ray, emergency, theatre, ICU work, a Dual Source 128 slice CT scanner, DSA, NM, MRI and Ultrasound services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and staff alike
- Enhance professional development and add to skill set
- Participate in on-call and shift rostering
