Our Surgical Pathology Unit plays a vital role in supporting our hospitals and specialist services by providing comprehensive histology and cytology services. We process over 57,000 specimens from 30,000 patients annually, covering a range of specialties including gastroenterology, breast, gynaecology, genito-urinary, skin, and head and neck.

Job Description

  • The successful applicant will join a team of 12FTE specialist Anatomical Pathologists working as generalists with areas of subspecialist interest.
  • We encourage applicants with experience in cytopathology to apply.
  • Our department participates in the registrar rotation for the Auckland training scheme.
