Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our strategy and delivering on key focus areas, enabling us to achieve long-term benefits for our communities. This role involves two core parts: supporting organizations and collaboratives to articulate projects, innovate, and develop applications; and leading and supporting special projects, including research and evaluation, to understand and enhance the impact of our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting organizations and collaboratives to develop projects, innovate, and apply for funding
  • Leading and supporting special projects, including research and evaluation
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve strategic goals
  • Maintaining relationships with community groups and organizations
  • Developing and implementing project plans and budgets

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Proven analysis skills and experience in research, evaluation, or impact assessment
  • Excellent facilitation and community relationship management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and strategically on complex issues
  • Strong project management skills
  • Passion for Taranaki and its communities
  • Embracing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to cultural competence
